In a tragic development, the California-based Sikh family that was abducted at gun point, were recently found dead. Chilling video of the abduction has surfaced amid the tragic report of the family’s murder. According to reports, four members of the Sikh family, including a 8-month-old child, were abducted earlier on Monday in California’s Merced city.
The deceased have been identified as Jasdeep Singh, his wife Jasleen Kaur, 8-month-old Aroohi Dheeri, and the baby’s uncle Amandeep Singh, were abducted earlier on Monday. Following the abduction, the police issued a statement which mentioned that the family was “taken against their will from a business along the 800 block of South Highway 59”.
Days after the authorities were sent in a tizzy amid the outrage and backlash on social media, the family was found dead by a farm worker in Merced County. In the wake of the horrific abduction and killings, Sheriff Vern Warnke, who was involved in the investigation, told media – “Our worst fears have been confirmed.”
“There’s no words right now to describe the anger I feel and the senselessness of this incident. I said it earlier: There’s a special place in hell for this guy,” the sheriff added.
Meanwhile, 48-year-old Salgado was taken into custody as a “person of interest” after he tried to kill himself.
