Disturbing video of a suicide bomber wreaking havoc at the Karachi police office has surfaced online. The incident has left at least 4 people killed and 14 other injured. According to reports, several militants stormed into a police office in Pakistan’s Karachi. The militants were reportedly affiliated to Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan (TTP). The group of militants also included a suicide bomber, who was caught on video the moment he blew himself up inside the office.
The video was shared by a Pakistani journalist who captioned it with – “Suicide bomber blows himself up on fourth floor. Operation is still underway to neutralise possibly up to five more terrorists in the #Karachi Police Office”.
The video showed the fourth floor of the police station office being blown into smithereens and a loud explosion noise creating panic in the area. A man can be heard asking people to back off, claiming that there could be more such explosions.
In the concerning aftermath of the attack, at least one civilian, two Army rangers, and two cops were killed. Further, fourteen others were injured with one person reported to be in critical condition.
The siege came to an end almost four hours of intense operation and the terrorists were eliminated sometime around 11.15 pm.
